Grimsby Community Mural Project and Other Murals
In early 1998, I was a participant in the G.C.M.P. This group not only, researched and painted 5 murals for the town of Grimsby, Ont, but helped in the community and raised funds for charity. This project was a good experience for myself and the community. The following pictures are of the completed exterior murals. The mural on the interior of the Senior Centre will be posted in the future. There will also be photos of graphitti murals posted here, in the near future!! SORRY!!

Nature's Romance

This mural is on display on the external wall of Kittling Ridge Winery, in Grimsby. This was the largest mural the group worked on. The size was requested by Kittling Ridge and paid a fee to fund the extra material.

Past Time (Part 1)
Below is the first half of the mural "Past Time". This half of the mural shows a past era, a young boy playing hockey and taking a shot, as he skates on the frozen local pond.
Past Time (Part 2)
The half of the mural, pictured above, shows the puck shooting in to his future as a "Peach King", the local hockey team. This mural was divided in to two parts to accomidate the shape of wall it is displayed on.
Victory Celebration
After much research, this mural gives you an idea of what battle victory celebrations would be like during Canada's early years. The House in the mural is the Nelles House. The home still stands but has been remodled over the years. It is pictured as it would have looked in the past. This mural hangs at the Grimsby Museum.
Grimsby In Motion
Hanging at the Carriage House, at the corner of Main and Elm, is this mural. Much research went into this particular mural as it shows many of the changes that have occured in town. From transportation restoration to fashion and culture... it even gives a possible look into the town's future?
Senior Centre Mural
This mural will find it's way on to my website soon!!
